Go Mat Birds! We wanted to let you know the plan and upcoming schedule.
We will need some moving mats muscle. If you, and/or a strong member of your family/friend-circle would be willing to help move mats, please let us know. We will meet on Sunday evening, January 17th at 6pm. Those of you who have helped before know that this is a relatively quick process, but does take a strong back. We would appreciate all the help we can get.
Practice will start on Tuesday, January 19th at 6:15pm in the Waitsburg Elementary School Multipurpose Room!! Woo Hoo! Go Mat Birds! The first practice will be an informational meeting for parents and athletes and will be counted as a practice. Please make every effort to make it to this important meeting/practice. We will detail the season and dates for tournaments, elect (or re-elect) board members, register athletes and reiterate the purpose for this program. Here is an athlete registration if you would like to fill it out prior to the meeting. EACH athlete will need a registration and medical release signed. Please contact me if you have any questions.
Subsequent practices will be each Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings at 6:15 pm - 7:45 pm through April 1st. More details to the schedule, as well as a possible time change, will be shared at the first practice/meeting on Jan. 19th.
We are very excited about our upcoming season and hope to see you all at the January 19th practice/meeting! Please forward this email to any you feel would be interested.
